Edward Tobe “Lalo” Renteria , 72

Edward “Lalo” Renteria passed away on Thursday May 5, 2016 at the age of 72 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas.   He was born August 31, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas and was a long time resident of Dallas, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Agapita Renteria, and father Tiburcio Renteria Jr.  He is survived by a brother, Philip Renteria,  sister, Irma Laudon; his three children, daughter Linda Ali (husband Steve) of Plano, Texas, son Ricardo Renteria (wife Rachel) of Carrollton, Texas, and son Edward Tobe Renteria Jr. of Dallas, Texas.  He has four grandchildren Samantha Walker (husband Victor) of The Colony, Texas; Aaron Ali of College Station, Texas, Audrey Ali of Plano, Texas and Diego Renteria of Carrollton, Texas and two great grandchildren, Ivy and Zane Walker of The Colony, Texas.

Edward served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Tallahatchie County.

Memorial Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 231 N. Marsalis Ave.  Dallas, Texas 75203 at 11:00 am Wednesday May 18, 2016.

Edward’s ashes will receive military honors and be entombed at the columbarium at the D-FW National Cemetery where he was a volunteer with The American Legion at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
